Happy Halloween Month!
Week 4

Where Jason and Evan decided to give Marmite a fair shake and eat it the CORRECT way. Results are…mixed. Then gooey Marmite reminds Evan of the 1988 horror movie remake, “The Blob” which leads to, “What if Marmite was a horror movie?”

Marmite_Photo-resize_1.jpg

Then Evan talks about the British Horror show, “Dead Set”which is basically “Big Brother” + Zombies. We then discuss which American reality shows we would want to see mixed with the UNDEAD. Jason realizes he knows absolutely nothing about zombies. And we explore the benefits of having the zombie-inspired ability to control your severed appendages. And how they can…get you stuff.

Jason and Evan revisit last week’s topic of “Drunk Dialogue”and examine the results of their experiment.

Evan recounts his real paranormal experiences while rehearsing an Honest-to-God horror play. And then we realize that there’s nothing scarier than the jokes of a child. And something even MORE scary is that nice old man you would NEVER suspect. But you can’t blame him because you DID defile his state park!

And we close with another HALLOWEEN QUIZ! Evan blends impressions and famous horror movie quotes and Jason has to guess them, which leads to the most TERRIFYING game show called:

“Doc Brown Goes Back In Time to F***Your Mother, and It’s Up To You To Stop Him!”

We continue the awesomeness that is celebrating the season of evil with an evil toy that answers evil questions (well, yes or no questions that its programming understands and is related to animals....ooohhhhh) Then we get into a Cracked article about the most unintentionally disturbing children's toys. (Big Loo!!)

Jason presents Evan with his unintentionally disturbing (in its difficulty and choices..."Hocus Pocus" my ass!!!.....) horror movie quiz called, "Horror or Amore". Evan has to decide of the clip is from a horror or a romantic film.
Then Evan presents Jason with an unintentionally disturbingly incorrectly plotted Bracket where we ask the question, "Which Modern or Classic horror icon would make the best interior decorator?"
P.S.- kids do you wanna think about a not quite British, cat, tiger, dragon thing in your room at night?? Then don't listen.

Where we initiate the horror season with an unsolicited Burger King Black Burger review (not racist, it's literally black) and then some short movie reviews. That segues into Jason's new BRAND NEW horror movie clip game called, "I Will Play A Clip From A Horror Movie, And You Guess Which Horror Movie The Clip I Play Is From" (play along!!!) Evan and Jason then create a new musical based on a beloved horror classic (did we say beloved...we meant god-awful) and we close with the horror that is Jason's Live Journal! A post from October 31st, 2005!

P.S. - Happy Halloween you little f*ckers.

Where we start with a heartfelt thank you to upstateisgreat.com for having Evan on the show, then we segue into stories of Spiderman balloons gone wrong, but oh so right, until you realize you're dating a balloon-man cheatin' ho!!!! Then we get into a long (and severely audio enhanced, sorry) section about Mr. Wes Craven and his contributions to cinema, which leads to a new horror icon and the horror on Tinder and it's ability to make you look like a fast food lovin' loser, we then close with another bracket!!! This time we ask the question, "Which no-good pop culture SLACKER would you rather room with?"

Listen to interviews from www.upstateisgreat.com HERE! We'll let you know when Evan's episode is up!
P.S. - Kids, if you listen, Evan will make sure his mic is unplugged for the entire middle portion of the show.

We start by discussing the NBA playoff skit by the Cleveland Cavaliers and if it's actually controversial or not. Which leads to a talk about how people can get too serious about comedy, especially Shakespearean comedies. We then come up with our own trailers for "Hamlet", "Titus Andronicus", "MacBeth", & "Romeo and Juliet."

Then we attempt some more Impression Mash-Ups: William Shatner/Obi Wan, George Taikai/Charles Manson, plus a few more!
We learn that there's a medical condition called Chronic Lateness and how your boss might overreact if you try to use it.
And we close out by learning that Manatee's are having WAY more fun than we are.
Please visit HERE to donate to Alex.
Watch the Cav's skit HERE.
Watch the Manatee's video HERE.
and finally, not for kids! So if you listen you'll get a starring role in Titus Andronicus!

Where we start by learning Bearded One Jason is a real bummer except for the first five minutes of every new year, then we get into dance snubbing, a vet that just can't let go(and seems pretty unharmed til he gets to certain words), the best, worst and spanish of Nightmare on Elm Street, then we start our own pretty straightforward movie review show,  then we discuss how you should just let old folks do what old folks wanna do, How we love our country, until our country moves in next door, and we close with THE voice for monsters in the movies, plus so much more!

P.S.-Kids, if you listen, freddy will screw with your couch cushions.
