Where we start with discussion of last week AND our revalation that Yes, Margaret, there was a 'Diagnosis Murder'/'Matlock' Crossover.... and it involved alot of beckoning children towards the light....

Then we offer some other light 80's TV show mashups, making them somewhat less 80s and more.... just...just no...

THEN, Jason brings us a clip of Mike Rowe on QVC circa 1992, being downright crushed by life and then we ask, "What would be the QVC program we would ALL watch?" Answer: Honest QVC (H-QVC)

P.S.-Kids, if you listen, we will macabrely folk sing you into the grave!

Happy Halloween Month!
Week 5

Where we start by reminding everyone about our "Impersonate The Bearded Ones" contest. And every entry will get a "Loot Envelope"!
Evan gives Jason the best Halloween costume.
Jason brings an old audio clip from last Halloween, which at first sounds like kids yelling at a clown, but ends up sounding very different. "Listen to FUTURE CLOWN, I'm trying to help you! AHH!!!"

ep_194_pic_bar.jpg

Jason and Evan were brought down a peg or 2 because they talk about their experience being featured in the latest Cracked article, "11 Quirky Photos of Improv Groups (That Will Make You Furious.)"
Jason brings another quiz where he asks Evan:
"How Well Do YOU Know the "Rings" Trailer?"
We talk about "Zombeavers" and "Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2" and how Leatherface was quite the ladies man. We find a list of the WORST Halloween costumes. (Bert & Ernie never looked so terrifying)

And we close out with a video of a woman petting her Raven, but when you close your eyes, it sounds completely different!

Happy Halloween Month!
Week 2

Where we start with "pride"... by that we mean, "begging for your submissions to the Evan and Jason impression contest".... we know you're out there. THEN we get into tree-babies...skeery...amateur stuntmen and their amateur ends... and how you can end a party very effectively, as long as you have no sense of what's appropriate.

Evan talks about "The X-Files" and how critics can get lost in their own semi-cleverness, and Jason asks the question, "Why didn't Chucky pull a "Red Paperclip" scenario in 'Child's Play'?"

We play a game where Jason challenges Evan to identify if these quotes are the last words of dying patients, death row convicts or "Scooby Doo" characters.
AND
Jason, once again, reads from his douchey Livejournal. This time only posts from October's past. Just a scant.... well... ten years ago. And we see how much he has matured in a decade.. because at some point, he finally learned how to drop the S-bomb.

P.S.-Kids, if you listen, Jason will give you a stern, but not cussy stern, talking to.

Happy Halloween Month!
Week 1

Where we start with "What if Robin Williams died while filming 'Mrs. Doubtfire'?" Then we give the perfect Halloween gift.
Evan asks, "Why does the Grim Reaper have that scythe?"
Then Jason shows a video of the creepiest/most delicious funeral...DEAD BODY CAKE??
Evan tells a story about how an old woman thought that her racist tract would help with his dead battery. Very Christian of her.
Racist_Tract.jpg
Then Evan realized that Kevin Bacon was in many horror movies so he brings a new game called "Bacon'ing" Where we meld together two Kevin Bacon movies (one horror/one not) and create BRAND NEW movies. "Animal Tremors" sounds pretty amazing.

Jason challenges Evan's Horror acumen with another "Horror Movie Quiz" this one based only on Sound Effects.
And finally we discuss those scenes from kids movies that are ACTUALLY scary. "Wizard of Oz", "Willy Wonka", "Gremlins", "Toy Story", etc.

Watch DEAD BODY CAKE clip HERE!
P.S. - Kids, if you listen, Ghost Mrs. Doubtfire will try to reconnect with you!

Where we propose a "Ferris Bueller"/"Friday the 13th" Crossover, Oh...Yeah.... then we get into Jason's comedy road trip to "The 2nd Best Comedy Fest" in Richmond VA, and how our Bearded Ones Brackets can really pass the time! Then Evan saves a forest, by being a total douche.

We then meet Fiscally Responsible Batman, The CVS pharma-comic returns, and Evan goes from being a douche that saves a forest to well...just an a-hole...again.

And finally we play a NEW GAME where famous dirty movie quotes get a lil sillier, and Jason has to guess the movie. We go on a Ronald Reagan tangent (who doesn't) and we close with a look at embarrassing E3 moments.

Check out the E3 moments here!!

P.S. - Kids, if you listen, Ferris Bueller will fourth-wall-break at you.

Where we start with pointless unoriginal bitchin 'bout baseball, then we get into "Captain America: CIVIL WAR" and the eternal question...has Cap gotten laid??

THEN we dig on 20-year-old Jason's journal, and get thoughts including...dark (if by dark you mean...not dark) poetry, a new sport he invented called Holecky (...Don't ask) and a horror movie idea to end all horror movie ideas (cause no one will make them after it) "Jo Mama"!!!

P.S. - Hey kids...listen and...you might conjure...The Jo Mama!

Where we start with a (late) review of "Batman V Superman" and then get into the game everyone loves (except a certain "7th Heaven" character) SQUAD!

podbean_squad_2.jpg

Where Evan randomly selects his "Squad" from popular TV characters, and must assign who's who in certain scenarios.

Then we read an article about a teacher with some interesting teaching techniques... very centipede-y techniques.... and we see that when you have a Tinder profile, ya gots ta make sure what you say is what you mean.

And finally Jason talks "The Running Man" and we invent a brand new dating show!!!
P.S.Kids.. if you listen... do you bleed? You will. Until we make up and become besties like right after.
